Viprinet operates an email newsletter to inform about its products, services and events. Users can subscribe with a valid email address. Data exceeding said e-mail address is voluntary.
Viprinet utilizes the email newsletter subscription data only for the deployment of the newsletters, and does not transfer any subscriber data to third parties.
In subscribing to the email newsletter, only the provided data and the fact that and when the user subscribed to the newsletter, are stored. Subscribers can at any time unsubscribe from the e-mail newsletter free of cost by sending an email to email@example.com.

Viprinet aims at providing only high-quality, safe and relevant links to other websites but users are asked to be careful whenever clicking on any links pointing to a different domain.
Viprinet may through their social media platform accounts share web links to relevant web pages. By default some social media platforms shorten lengthy URLs (this is an example: http://ow.ly/46msS).
Users are advised to take caution and good judgment before clicking any shortened URLs published on social media platforms by this website and its owners. Viprinet aims, also when embedding third-party services, at protecting personal data and only utilizing only services whose respective provider uses the user’s IP address only for content delivery. However, Viprinet has no influence on the third-party provider using the IP address for further purposes, e.g. statistics. Viprinet informs its users on said purposes as far as known to Viprinet.

The variant of Google Analytics used on the Website anonymizes the user’s IP address within in the member states of the European Union or in other members of the European Economic Union Treaty, and submits the full IP address to a Google server in the USA, where it is then anonymized, only in rare cases. As requested by Viprinet, Google proceeds the data collected on the user’s activity on the Website in order to create reports on the Website’s activities and to render further services related to the Website usage and the Internet usage towards Viprinet.
The IP address submitted by the user’s browser in relation to Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google. The user can prevent the storage of cookies through respective browser settings. Whenever a user clicks on a YouTube video embedded on the Website, the user’s data submitted to Google by using cookies of the advertizing network DoubleClick. Said cookies are written and read with each page load of a DoubleClick-utilizing website, each click and every other activity leading to the call on a DoubleClick server, and they contain so-called identifiers (IDs) with which the user can be provided customized advertizements by third parties or advertizing networks respectively. Facebook Custom Audience On This Website
Upon visiting this Website, a session cookie is stored in the visitor’s browser with the information that the user has been on this Website. On the Website, there is so-called “Premium Content” – currently mostly whitepapers – for download. If users wants to download Premium Content they have to indicate Viprinet their name, email address, organization and telephone number, whereupon Viprinet grants access to the requested document. In order to identify the users in case of following downloads without having to ask users to re-enter their data, the indicated email address is furthermore stored in a cookie. The indicated data is stored in order to identify the user in case of questions, remarks or requests for call-back.
For technical purposes, Viprinet stores server logs for 31 (thirty-one) days after creation.
Resources And Further Information
Any user of the Website may free of charge request information on the personal data stored about him/her by Viprinet. Furthermore, the user may request the correction of incorrect data as well as the blocking and deletion of his/her personal data as long as the deletion does not violate any archiving obligation of Viprinet.
